President’s Message

As ABVIMS & Dr RML Hospital embarks upon this journey of AOGD 2024-2025, we are filled with deepest gratitude to have been given this greatest opportunity to serve the fraternity with the blessings of Almighty, our patrons and constant support of dear colleagues. As we hold the beacon of flagship leadership with great responsibility to ignite the sparks of knowledge, to serve the mankind with all our heart and dedication.

The Theme for this year is “Shared Decision Making: Enhancing Women Emancipation”. It involves shared decision making which should be patient centered, with individualized approach to the informed consent and involves discussion of benefits, risks, and the available treatment options in context of patient values and priorities. It empowers women to take decisions and safeguards their rights and privileges.

Our main objectives chiefly focus to build a platform to share ideas and information, to connect with each other, seek support, co-ordination, and co-operation from all FOGSI member societies Delhi. We aim to emphasize on attaining academic and skill benefits for all members of the respective societies and for the welfare of the public. We plan to do joint AOGD activities and pre- conference workshops to maximize the knowledge and skill dissipation.

We are happy to announce that AOGD team has pledged to bring forth academic fiesta all year around, conduct CMEs and various activities. We are pleased to announce our forthcoming 46th Annual conference from 22nd to 24th November 2024.

As Rabindranath Tagore rightly said, “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high”; We seek your blessings and support once again to continue with success spree of AOGD.
